What is this thing? Acceller

I'm doing a clean up of my kids computer. No malware - just garbage.

Uninstalling programs and there's a program called "gateway connect" by Acceller listed.

Do I need it?

with more research i have found this but it doesn't give much info you might have to ask the kids what the use it for " http://gateway-connect.software.informer.com/ ".

 

THanks for the help. I'm just going toleave it alone. It's pretty small. No, they don't have an X-Box. We're Wii people!

It might be a shopping assistant, but the kids' computer is a Gateway, so it could be a networking thingy.
