What is wrong with my canon printer?

    Hello, I have a Pixma MG5220 Canon printer. It is wireless and I have installed it. However, evertime I try to print something it wont let me because it is supposably offline.

    I use my neighbors Wifi for internet. Can it be because it is not my internet? or The modem is to far?
    Her wifi is wierd...it only lets me use it if I am on a computer but not on my ipod or iphone.

    I am happy to be corrected on this but I dont believe that the router has anything to do with this. I think the WIFI printers basically have their own built in access point but I am happy to be challenged on this.
