What is wrong with my printer settings on my Computer??

Whenever I print from any application on my PC it always freeezes that particular program for the duration of round about a minute before the document is even spooled.
This is also a problem when another user on the network tries to print through this pc.

Any Ideas??

What make/model is the printer and when did you last update the printer driver?

 

I had the same problem on my old computer, do you have a virus scanner? I am using McAfee Virus scanner, and it detected a "W32.Jeefo" Virus. If you don't have a scanner, I suggest obtaining one. If you DO have the Virus, I would consult the Malware Removal Forums. In my case, I had to reinstall a fresh copy of windows, and go through ALL of my CD's and files to determine what the virus was, ended up throwing away about 10 burned CD's with software on them, and a few executables on my Data drive.
