What kind of Geek are you?

No offense, I was just wondering what you all see your self as? I for one am a Counter-Culture/gamer Geek. Me and my friends wear all black, listen to hard rock, playt video games all our freetime, and now too much about sciences, math, and computers. What about you?

 

I hate labels. Gah.

 

who doesn't? Thats just not the point. Seeing how I bet most of you guys are in your thirties or twenties, this is more of a joke.

 

There needs to be an "other" category, for the "grumpy, pissed off geek"

I share Halo's love/hate relationship of P.C.'s. I do them for a living, as well - So I guess I must love them more than hate them - But not today!

I just had the main H.D.D.'s on one of servers crapola itself...So I'm not a happy camper a.t.m.!

I have to say I was rather annoyed earlier, Flash has to be one of the most irritating and infurating things on the planet.

If wearing black is the basis for "counter-culture", then I guess I have to put myself there. Although I am required to wear black for work....

Meh. None of the above. I'm not really a computer geek of any kind...I just know people who are.

I'm an old fart geek that is stuck with a Compaq presario that I've put so much money in upgrades etc that I'll never get anything out of it. I listen to country music generally recorded prior to 1959. I still wear cuffs on my jeans and love to destroy radios that are blaring boom boom rap music. If I had any hair left it would probably be crew cut. My only link to sanity is MG. And yes, I'm having a really bitchin' day thank you very much. I just could not find my category.

 

I am a lady with class and like to be treated that way, even if I am a geek. Well maybe a nerdy geek. Either way, I like to be respected.

I used to be a typical Gamer-Geek, but since I moved to Ireland and don't play online games anymore, I'm more of an "everything in between" kinda Geek.

i'm a geek who is trying to hookup old laptop displays to desk p3+ clunkers so poor folk can have cheap flat screen displays.
got any ideas? somebody will make money with this idea, but i just want get it out there. schematics and controller advise appreciated!
