    Hi,

Does anyone know of a program that will let me know what language an exe is written in?

    Thank you,

Process Explorer (d/l from Microsoft) can let you look at strings in a program or DLL, and you might infer from those what kind of compiler generated the exe.

Dependancy Walker can be useful. Whilst it won't specifically tell you what language was used to write a program, you can sometimes glean this information from its dependancies.

    Thank you for the suggestions.

I have tried both Process Explorer and Dependancy Walker. I can't figure out from either of them what this might be written in. So I'm still looking.

    Thanks guys,

    It's an AutoIt Debugger.

I'm not familiar with that one. Someone else may have some info. You might also try googling on it, to see if there are any forums or other web sites that discuss it. The download site for Autoscript mentions one.
