What MG forums do you visit, how often an

What forums do you visit, how often and in what sequence.

I always visit Software, then Hardware, Lounge and the front page, daily, without fail, usually in that sequence. I rarely, if ever, visit any other forum.

Lounge, Interesting weblinks, Software, Hardware, Spyware & Downloads mostly...no particular order or regularity...just depends how much time I have and what issues I'm having or how much I feel like learning.

 

Most of the time i just use show posts since last visit and click the ones that look interesting.

 

i usually just visit the lounge as i have no interest in learning bout puters. that is untill something goes wrong. lol. now i am hovering over spyware waiting for some genius to make everything better. lol
im not a very good geek.

 

DC'ing, Lounge, Programming, Software... if there is somthing interesting going on in Hardware or Drivers I'll have a look there.

 

I instantly click on "New Post" and go from there.

 

I go to software and hardware and the lounge and 3 times a days and yes i am a geeks !!!!!

Pretty much exclusively the lounge. There are people better able to help others than myself, and I have other avenues where I ask if I have a problem or question (although I have on occasion asked here and been helped).

I "work" at a tech site, I don't go to them for fun.

 

My order Software,Lounge,Games,Hardware . I also have gone to oc and Spyware once when I needed help. After that if I have time I visit the arcade. I try to help as much as I acn in the helping sections but I am not a very good geek either and am not much of a help. I visit every time i have a chance(every day to once a week)

 

Typical for me is Software, F5, F5, F5, F5, then Spyware (looking for an open spot to post in), Hardware, Networking, Drivers, Programming (maybe somone needs help with batch scripts... ),

My favorite place to hang out is Drivers. It's peaceful and quiet there. I rarely help anyone, and they rarely help me. I just sit there and stare at the page, and relax, and watch Halo do all the work..... NOT!

Actually, I always start at the Front Page and check out the News and the latest file updates for new programs, etc, and occasionally the Off Base and Way Off Base sections for fun stuff. Then head to Software on the off chance that there's some poor soul worse off then myself that I can lend a hand. I figure I can do simple things like welcome new members, tell them to post their specs, and maybe a few small fixes or links until someone more qualified can rescue them from me! I read through the threads to see if there's something I can learn too.
I'll check out Spyware and Hardware sometimes, just for fun, and then head to the Lounge to see the latest news with everyone, and see if there's anyone to pester. Since Star is usually off somewhere else goofing off, I try to poke fun at GT or Goldfish, or anyone else that I can find, and then I run screaming away before they can catch me. But I ALWAYS treat Abby with the utmost respect and politeness, isn't that right Miss Abby?

I usually begin my visit in the foreign cusine forum, eagerly hoping for a new escargot recipe, followed by a quick visit to the banned list to see if my Christmas Card list needs purging, then merrily off to the main page for program updates & releases. If I've already had my evening meal, I avoid the lounge and go straight to spyware and read how people are mortified to find that, out of all the computers on the planet, pr0n picked their computer to park itself in and they have no idea how that happened I then read goldfish's blog, as he's really the only sane mind on this board, followed by a quick scan to see if wenchie's kid has eaten her school bus. I usually finish my visit to MG with a trip to the Dr. Phil section, as he gives rather sound advice on relationships as well as full-system defragmenting. A glass of white vine, to cheer Halo moderating some 250-300 posts, and a brief stop to the law enforcement forum to see if any old members have been parolled, and my visit to khaki-land is complete.

 

Software, Spyware, side trip to the Lounge, and an occasionaly stop in Hardware.

 

Hey Goldy you sure have come on leaps and bounds, i have read some of your posts since i rejoined back here, and compared to a couple of years ago you have sure learnt a lot of stuff. Keep it up dude you will go far.

And hey i still have the thoughts of the Formula gear you got from your day at Benetton (if i am correct.) Lucky get hehe

As for what forums i visit? I visit Software/hardware/Games and the Lounge and the rest occassionaly.

 

Initially, I go Software, Interesting Links, then Lounge. During the day, mainly Lounge.

No particular order. I just read the latest posts in when logging in and go to the one that is most interesting!

 

Where I go depends, if I posted something Dumb might have to get lost for while.

I went to the spyware section the other day, Damm I could.nt post there, ya gotta be special, oh well it's kinda burned into my brain to avoid spyware anyway!

Probably find me hangin around Hardware,Cooling & Moddding,OCing & Software mostly, Butt Ya Never Know, I'm like Dirt never know where I'll turn up.

 

Being relatively new I click on the New Posts link and check out what has been posted. Then I wander through Soft / Hard / Spyware pages and see whats new. Then, I look for any postings with 0 replies and do all I can (via searching MG, web searching, etc.) to try and give the poor soul some solace. I figure I am out of the way if I choose to answer the ones that no one else takes. Though I will jump in if I think I know something.

Best site I have ever been to. Also led me to the second best site I have ever been to, KoL.

I've popped over by Software, Hardware, Spyware, Games, Lounge, Virus Software Updates (very rarely), and (if there's something "interesting") Interesting Website Links.

Before I come to the forums, I check all the links on the main page to see if any of the programs I like have been updated, check the news, and any Way Off Base which I've gotten a few giggles out of almost on a daily basis.

 

I always open'er up to the lounge!! Like to see what crazy things are being talked about, and most of the time I get a good laugh or two!!

Then I stroll over to the hardware forum!! I definately don't know alot of anything, but...gotta say, hardware is my strongpoint!! But I usually don't post anything unless I know I will have the time to follow up!! I'm terrible about trying to help someone and i'll post 3 or 4 things, then it might be a week before I get back to it...IF i can remember where the post is!!

Then if I have more time, I'll knock on softwares door just to see if by some freak of chance there might be a tiny something going on that I would know anything about!!

Then...if i'm really doing good with extra time (almost never)...I will see what kind of "interesting Links" anyone has come up with!!

Otherwise...I just go where I need to go to get what I need in order to reslove whatever issue that might be at hand at the moment!!

Admin forum then whatever forums have had posts reported lol Other than that, it depends on my mood and how much time I have but I usually just read through all the forums in no particular order.

I live in the Spyware Forum, when I have news or something I go into the MFer forum. I would stick around the Admin forum but nope, taken away. If I get bored or have no responses I will help in the Software/Hardware Forums. Very seldom this happens though.
