What might be going on here?

    When I started my PC this morning, it got as far as the point where the OS loads, and rebooted. Then, when the text screen that counts down to a start showed up, it didn't matter whether I let it count down to zero, or pressed enter during the countdown, it rebooted instead of loading the OS. This went on for about ten reboots, and then the OS loaded. it is working fine now.

    Possible causes? Thanks...

    Specs:
    AMD Athlon XP 1250Mhz
    512 Mb DDR SDRam
    Windows XP home SP2
    Nvidia GEForce4 MX440(64Mb)
