What notebook should i get?

Hey guys,

I'm hopefully starting university this year and my dad is going to get me a notebook computer. Anyhow he's saying he'll probably put in $1500-2000 aus (we live in melbourne australia). I really want a notebook that is capable of playing some games such as oblivion and other graphically demanding games. I'm willing to put in a few hundred $500+ to make sure i get something decent. Looking for probably a 15" screen max as i'll have to cary this thing around. What do you guys wreckon?
