What power supply do I need?

I only have a 230w power supply and I think that I am probable under powered, but am not that sure about things like this...

Current hardware:
AMD Athlon64 3000+
Radeon 9600xt
Seagate 80gb SATA HDD
Maxtor 60bg HDD (tho I still have problems ocasionally but thats not the point)
1 stick 512 ram
FDD
DVD Rewriter

(if you need any more info let me know and I can supply more detail)

All I would like to know is, do I have a power supply capable of supporting that?

I am thinking of getting a new PSU, so any advice would be greatly appreciated...

blimey 230W for that lot???!!!!!

i had a 230W PSU once.......about 3 years ago!!!!!
Definitely look for something of AT LEAST 400W to support that athlon and radeon card. it should keep you running at the optimum rate!

 

i just punched it into a wattage calculator and it says a minimum of 300 for your system, so i would look into at least a 350watt to allow for expansion

 

I wouldnt do anything less then 400w on that system; non generic psu also
