what psu brand would you say is the best for price and long life

Yep!
Lot's of generic ones & even some brand names.
Chances are if it's less than 4lbs in weight & cost less that $50, it's probably crap & aint worth the box it's shipped in.

Thinking of one in particular, post it.

 

anything under 60-70$ at an ONLINE website like newegg.com.

 

over 500w for 939 and 6800 AGP to get high OC.

I did have the Antec Truepower that comes with the Sonata case but it blew up and they i requested this in return (mainly to keep the noise down).

 

i have the 460W version of that Pax Power.. its great, also helps cooling the system but i think u should go for a bigger one, at least 450W.. for future upgrades
just make sure u dont get a Q-Tec, it will burn down ur entire system!
