what raid is right for me?

    Hey all. i just bought a tuner card and working on turning my computer into a PVR id like to set up a raid. i was thinging of a JBOD (just a bunch of disks) i would like my computer to see a 1 terabyte drive. out of 200gb and or 300 gb HDs. whicch i can do using jbod but id also like hardware backup of raid , what should i do? i dont know a whole lot about raid levels i was thinking maybe raid 3, any thoughts? thanks, Maxwell.
