I have a problem with my PC and reported it in the Software forum. I have been advised there to run the Malware Removal Guide. I have got to the Windows version specific instructions where you download the tools to be used. One of them is Malwarebytes. You recommend re-naming the file. However, I already have Malwarebytes on my PC. I am wondering what I should do. Do I just keep it as I already have it and ensure it is up-to-date or should I be doing something else?

Just keep it as is and run it. When done, attack the logs from all the scans.
