    I currently have a Sapphire 9800Pro. I spent 209.99
I was thinking of buying a 6800. for 283.99 and taking the 9800pro back.

Would it be sensable to do this. Its an extra $74 to do this, and i wouldnt loose any money on shipping.

What do you think. Would it be a good idea to do this for the long run?

Please let me know what you think!

Ohh did i make a mess here. lol....i cannot return my 9800Pro...its been more then 30 days. :(

Im going to see if i can get the same price for it on ebay. Then i might consider the 6800!

Thanks for your opinions. More are welcome.

Ok i am very pleased with my cards performance in Doom3. I really dont know how much of a difference a 6800 would make.

So now im asking for long term. Will haveing the 6800 make it a longer time before i upgrade my graphics. Will i be able to play future games any better then my 9800Pro? Considering my settings for Doom3 are:

    Ultra Quality
    AA X2
    1024 X 786
