what the he!!

    I'm practically illiterate when it comes to a computer. Well my problem is that when I go to log off or shut down; the darn computer has a brain fart and freezes :mad: . Inoticed this after I downloaded the most recent xp update what the heck is wrong :confused: ? Please help this uneducated fool. :rolleyes:

    the only detail I have is when I log off and windows has displayed on the screen save settings thats where it freezes. is there any other details ?

    Type of computer, is this Service Pack 2? What hardware is connected to the system, what programs do you have installed.

    Any legacy programs? Also, Norton was known to do this for a while. Please give as much info as you can.
