What the heck is idmflash ???

i googled all over and got no satisfactory answers. what is idmflash?
I'm looking at a system on which Chrome crashes frequently - either shockwave or flash are implicated but I'm trying to get to the real conflict and find this thing living in there since about the time the trouble started. it has an appearance in the programs list but does not uninstall itself despite a seeming attempt. I find many registry keys for it AFTER running the pointless uninstall.

help???:confused

 

good catch - so I was on the right track. Since crippling it I've not seen another crash.
have not gone completely through registry a second pass however.
the source: internetdownloadmanager.com but I assume it was hitchhiking on something the user needed... i'll poke around for an uninstall tool
