WTF did I miss out on a meeting??? How can a person go from nothing to jump 138 places in one day???? confused

I see atleast 10 people that have went from no advancement in months to looking like they have 100s of computers all working per person.

Yea it really is, mainly because it cost's absolutely nothing to do and the possible benefit's are enormous, seems like our "Folding" Mod "Goldfish" has disappeared too:eek. I know he was such a great help to me when I started. Seems like a whole pile of former "Folders" have either got new machines and not installed F&H or have simply dropped the program all together

I started folding again Sunday and have 3 WUs done but I think the results server is off line because they are being held in queue until they can be sent to the results server.

[18:26:45] Error: Got status code 503 from server
[18:26:45] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
    [18:26:45] (171.64.65.65:8080)
[18:26:45] - Error: Could not transmit unit 01 (completed July 10) to work server.

I think maybe those "folders" may have had a bunch of finished WUs in queue and the results server came back on line and they sent them all at once.

Something that we need to remember it is summer break at Stanford and there may not be anyone monitoring the servers.

I have noticed that the Folding & Home program will hang from time to time and not connect to F&H after repeated attempts..........The solution is to shut down your Folding Client then restart, this has happened to me several times......Not certain were the problem lies, but do know that shutting down the starting again solves it.............Side note Stanford has had server problems this year on at least three occasions....Even though Stanford is on "Summer Break" most graduate students are still there working the projects, so I don't think that should affect F & H

hell, I can't even keep one of my machines folding for a decent amount of time. Seems it just doesn't like it.

XP works much better for folding than 98. It bookmarks it for one thing, 98 is iffy.
