What video card should i get?

    well i have about a $100 to spend on it so i was looking to get either the 7600gt or the 8600gt i was wondering which is the better choice for the money? also does anyone know how much power each card pulls? my current specs are below

    P4 3GHZ (single core)
    1 gig ddr2 ram
    160gb sata hdd
    dvd burner
    vista 32bit

    Looks fine as long as you don't do too much hardcore gaming. I really need a new video card as well as I have an 64MB Intel onboard video card. The thing is my computer doesn't have an AGP slot or any PCI-E. Stupid Compaq

    yea well ill only be playing at 1024x768 (my monitor) so the 8600gt should be fine for me
