What Would Be The Best Setup

I've been thinking of upgrading the hardware of my computer to handle more graphic and procssor intensive games however my knowledge of hardware is fairly limited, and there far too many sites to be worth checking the validity. I was actually thinking of completely overhauling my hardware to be a rig capable of playing current gen games easily.

What hardware would you recommend, I'm talking about gpu, coolers, and cpus, as well as anything else I may need. I'm also not opposed to a multiple gpu and/or cpu setup either if it's neccasary. All of it should be able to function in a setup without any problems.

Go to a site of a system manufacturer and look at what their various systems for gaming include.
Here is an award winning system manufacturer and its gaming systems:

PS: You currently have three threads requesting help where you haven't responded to questions and/or haven't said how the situation has or has not been resolved. To be fair to those helping, you should make the effort to respond, or better still complete one issue at a time to the end.

The best setup for you depends on multiple factors and preferences, budget, usage and screen resolution would cover most of them, there's no point in us even attempting to guess what's suitable without.

Knowing where you are starting from (your current system specs) would help too. You may not need a new CPU, for example. Or your current motherboard may already have the maximum supported RAM.

But I second Max's concerns. It is considered poor forum etiquette to leave threads dangling with no replies. We aren't seeking a thank you, just the solution or final status. This is so others seeking a solution to their similar problem may benefit too.

The grandmaster of technology quote was more a reference to getting things to work rather than knowledge. I can't be expected to know everything about the latest technology or the best setups when there is so many different ways to do a setup like crossfire and other such stuff. Not to mention the fact that coolers have different sizes and that the best ones might not fit in a setup. I was looking for a setup that would be essentially a jack of all trades, able to run everything reasonably well without any problems. Also at full speed and not any graphics intense games like ps4 level of graphics. Most real time games I play aren't graphic intense, the ones that are more graphic intense I can run because they are turn based and do not require a whole lot of processing power

Can you start filling in the blanks from #4 and #6, please?

Im hoping for a gaming rig that can run stuff reasonable well but nothing to graphically intensive. I'm hoping to get a processor that doesn't include an integrated gpu like how hd graphics is set up. don't worry about #4 if necessary you could include a moniter display that'd be perfect for it. but you might wanna choose a setup that could last a while under heavy usage.

The screen resolution is a limiting factor, the more pixels there are, the better the GPU needs to be. Similar with the screen refresh rate, 60Hz is easy to drive, 120 or higher, much harder.

Your CPU is still very good, Ram is also fine, I'd move up to a better GPU and possibly screen (depending on what you have now). Multi GPU games are not common, going Crossfire/SLI would only be needed for 4k monitors, I reckon.

So, we need to know what your current PSU (make, model, wattage, age) is, your budget and AMD/Nvidia preference.

What games do you play now, what games are you looking to buy?

Are you looking for a new case, SSD? Anything else?
