What's for Dinner?

Been a while since I've seen a thread like this and I always find it interesting and inspirational to see what's on the menu in your neck of the woods.

Tonight I'll be grilling chicken breasts I've had marinating since yesterday afternoon in a blend of seasonings with mesquite flavoring. I have some fresh corn soaking in a salt water bath that I'll toss on the grill also. I have some left over halves of green, red & yellow peppers I may grill if I don't change my mind and use them in a salad later in the week. I also have some beautiful fresh baby asparagus tips that will be drizzled with hollandaise sauce.

Haven't decided on what I'll do yet with the potatos...maybe roasted, or southwest style...hrmm....decisions, decisions.

So what do you have planned for dinner?

 

Lamb chops, glazed with a thin layer of mint sauce and some vegetables

Nah, got some ground bison meat left so will make some burgers wrapped in bacon as it's such a lean meat. Oh, medium rare please.:yum

 

You happened to catch me on a day when I'm bored and it's finally not ungodly hot and humid! :-D However, due to their rules, I have to post recipe links even though they're all mine.

Beautiful quiche, green salad, followed by fresh Strawberries with Orange zest and black pepper, smothered in healthy cholesterol laden double cream

 

My daughter will be cooking dinner as soon as she gets to the telephone.:cry

 

4-meat,4-cheese Hot Pockets.
4 minutes in the nuker and i'm good to go.

 

3 birdseye "brand name " Quarter pounders "before they are cooked" burgers on three rounds of bread with salad,wasn't that good,was poo actually and they are like the most expensive frozen burgers you can get over here.


I'm still hungry,got some chips/crisps that taste like mango chutney I'm eating them ATM.

Good thanks I'm honoured to be mentioned :-D I'd ask how you guys were doing but I don't really care I just want to know how the next launch is going:-D

 

Boneless pork chops grilled,w/sweet & sour sauce ; chopped taters and onions roasted in foil on the grill; and buttered carrots.

Now it is time for strawberry shortcake :yum

 

Next launch is just sitting there until 11 July because it can't hold its gas. And the new moon rocket (Ares) is showing a tendency to shake itself to pieces in ground tests. Abby has neither problem at the present time. :-D

 

Because she's made of a strong alloy called carbonite:-D

 

More like beryllium...but it's a girlie pink fluffy soft beryllium. :-D

Like I've been saying,you can melt her heart you just have to raise her temp to about 1000C kelvin

Or just take her shopping. :-D

Come to think of it, her meatloaf has the same consistency as beryllium.

 

I'd love to know what meat llke that tasted but I've got used to the regular kind that sits in a geostable flux with the rest of my sub 1000K Kelvin food:-D

They do something to them,of what I'm nit sure,I know you have to give them a few rads like abbey does before it's palatable but the rest is just a mystery.

I know three's know foreign bodies living on abbeys meatloaf after "the process"

Actually, I call her meatloaf 'movie meatloaf'. When she makes it it either turns out looking like the mountain all the aliens landed on in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, or 1958's The Blob.

Pork chops in thyme, with rice, pinapple on the side, and a glass of Australian shiraz.

Dinner was, Rainbow Trout. Fried in butter with a squeeze of lime :drool

I've just had a fried sausage sandwich with lots of brown sauce. :yum

 

Grilled tuna steak (mine has to be very, very rare) with a sauce that is made with: arugula, balsamic vinegar, shallots, chopped fresh tomato - wasabi coleslaw and grilled veggies: yellow pepper, egg plant, zucchini and white wine of course godere

For dessert??? Can't tell ya or I will be thrown off the forum :-D

its a bit early for dinner but I just made fried chicken strips, no lard here, I roll with Italian olive oil.

 

I'm jealous! I'd have to travel 1200 miles for that!!!

Tonight I'm doing:
Spiced Chicken Breasts
Broccoli and Carrots in Cream Cheese Sauce
Creamy Pea Salad
Kidney Bean Salad

 

Just had one of my fav's --- it's an easy recipe:

Some seafood salad from the local Jewel food store on a kaiser roll with a slice of provolone cheese.
