   earlier I was checking out the offerings and every time I clicked on something it tried to slip me "avenue A" or "Doubleclick" spyware. Spybott caught it, though. Now everything is back to normal. Did anyone else notice this?

   Offerings? At church or what? If you mean here, they are not tracking cookies. All they do is see when you were here, how many times, to show you appropriate ads. Most spyware programs are way overboard on cookies. They should explain when they call something a tracking cookie, its information to improve our services. You can block them and just see the same old ad over and over
