whats the best program with antivirus, firewall and spyware blocker all in one?

i used zonealarm with antivirus but ended up with lots of viruses which it did not detect. :(

Zonealarm doesn't is young in terms of AV. I'd stay away from it until their product matures a bit
Right now, other than the big 2(norton and mcafee), mthere are no mature "all in one" security suites that are that "all around". You are best of to find an AV you like, a firewall you like, and some spyware protection you like, keep them updated. And make sure they are all free ;)

I see those all-in-one utilities similar to all-in-one copier/scanner/printer devices where you think you are getting a better deal simply because you get all those functions and commonly much cheaper than what you would have paid for individual devices, however none of the functions would be as good as what you would get from an average standalone machine of the same type. That said, I suggest you stay away from all-in-one 'suite' type deals, install them as a separate program.
The products you pay for will come with a manual and technical support, however free alternatives often do the same quality work if not better so for anti-virus, spam and spyware you could easily find a utility even from MG's download section. All the program names were mentioned, discussed and explained in various previous threads, try doing a search in the Forums section.

Final note: do not 100% trust any program or protection type even if they are configured at highest settings and updated frequently. Educate yourself about the possible attacks and vulnerabilities your system might have. Do regular backups of your important files.
    Take care. ;)

    I have the answer . . . THIS WEBSITE :D

majorgeeks has kept me virus and spyware free for MONTHS and i used to be in major hell . . .

basically, make a folder for maintanence apps or somethin and keep your arsenal in there.

I agree, no one app will give the same protection as the best of each category combined in a folder . . .

AV wise, if you are a regular updater and defragger like me, then heck, i see no problems with norton . . . yeah you gotta pay but i've used it for so long that i'm kinda biased and just feel safe with it and its regular updates, i don't notice any significant slowdown either but then again im not playing Doom3 ;) . . even tho they're the anti-christ of AV programs . . . its always worked for me -

although NO ONE program is satisfactory . . . keep stinger, avast virus cleaner or A squared around as well to pick up the pieces that norton, mcafee, avg, or avast (whatever you decide on) misses . . . kinda like the same reason why people (myself included) preach running and updating both Spy-bot (with dso fix) and AdAware (with vx2 add-on) regularly, need both cause no one program picks up them all all the time . . .

i also think the following are must have's as well for all around health, esp the first two. . .

    Kerio Firewall
    SpywareBlaster
    diskkeeper
    startup inspector for windows
    regSupreme
    ccleaner

    good luck!!
