Whats the best internet browsers

These are some i heard of but not sure which is the best or is there even any better ones

Firefox

Opera

Internet Explorer which i currently have and im not likeing it so far

and the last is one from Apple

Can you please tell me which one is the best and if there are any better ones than these

My rankings of the ones you gave:

Firefox
Opera
IE

I don't have Safari, but my sister and dad have macs and they don't like it and use Firefox.

I've heard people here on MGs say they think Opera is faster than Firefox, but I haven't seen a difference. Firefox has great addons, one of them being an IE addon which lets you view a page through IE if it's not compatible with Firefox.

all personal opinion, and use whichever you like best...I think they are all pretty much equal as far as pros and cons...none is perfect...firefox is nice because of add-ons...if you use them, same as IE, just takes some time to get used to either...I use both, and I dont really have a preferrence

It depends what you are doing, the type of sites you are visiting and the number of simultaneous tabs/layers/windows open.

You need to install a couple (say Opera and Firefox) and experiment and come to your own conclusion.

That's probably true. Personally, I think IE is slower than either. It does have addons, but I've found that the ones I want cost money. Firefox addons that I have used are free.

The difference between Opera and Firefox is probably nonexistent, but I use FF because I"m a creature of habit. Plus, I love my skin addon I use.

I like Firefox as it seems faster than IF. It's also safer, I understand.

Hi

My prefs.........

IE7 in Vista ( not XP ) as it has protected mode.
Firefox 3 beta
Opera

but its a personal choice, as while many may tout Firefox as safer than Internet Explorer, in one area as ActiveX exploits it may well be as it doesnt employ ActiveX script, however IT WILL NOT keep you safe from malware as much malware comes from what your downloading and not via browser and no browser will keep you safe if you click yes to dowload and install. I notice many in out malware forum who say I use Firefox, but I have malware HELP!!!

Safety is in how you surf so the main browser is YOU.
