Whats the latest word on HalfLife 2?

    Anyone have release date for this game? I keep hearing conflicting reports.

    Actually, yes... I have heard word that Steam 1.6 is being release today!. (9/10/03) heheh.. like you couldn't just look at the date I posted. Ahh.. I just wanted to be efficient.

    Well.. since I can't edit my post... I'd like to say that I know the Steam release isn't the release of HL2, but I'm not sure if anyone really knows when HL2 is really going to be released. Steam 1.6 has been released and will be made mandatory in a few weeks so I hear. Check out http://steampowered.com/ and get the latest. I'm not sure I like this change though.

    gee, what a surprise, HL2 postponed to around CHRISTMAS.... what a coincedence, don't people buy a lot more around that time? ;)
