What's this about?

I got this email supposedly from MG. I've gotten them before except the thread that this one links to is six years old and when I clicked on the link the new post isn't posted. Also the thread isn't recent when I go to "Interesting Website Links".
Can someone in charge look into this to see if it's legit? I still have the email if you want to see it.

That means the new post was actually spam, and a moderator deleted it before you had a chance to see it.

 

I don't think I'm subscribed to any thread. I was at some time but I think I changed that option or something like that.

Top left in the menubar is User CP> 4th Link from the bottom on the left is List Subscription

Ok, I was subscribed to that thread...along with another 43 pages worth.
All the time I've been here, I don't think I've emptied that thing.:-o
