Its not spyware but if you have any of the games that are installed or have been installed on your pc from this website

    http://www.trygames.com/

Then that is how the folder got there

It's not just downloaded games, do you have any games installed?

TryMedia is included and installed with a lot of games.

Also, what are the contents of the folder so we can tell if it's legit or not?

If you look on the website with the games i gave you civilization is part of them so maybe that folder installed along with the game

It's a type of copy or content protection used by some game manufacturers.

If you no longer have the game installed, delete it (see if there's an entry in Add/Remove first).

If you uninstalled Civilization then maybe it left the program folder behind for some reason just delete it no harm will befall your pc.

Yes most likely as Infogrames were the lead software/publishing house on CIV so as alot of software these days, even if you uninstall using the apps uninstaller or Add/Remove they still generally leave a few residual folders or files, in Program Files, which are safe to delete.

Moumantai also once removed all these folders and files run your favored registry cleaner to also remove any left over links to these files and locations, just a small bit of extra cleaning ( CCleaners registry cleaner will do )

I dont think Disk Cleanup cleans old registry entrys just go with CCleaner or RegScrubXP much better.
However, if you wanna free up space on your drives, then run Disk Cleanup as well. :)
