What's With This Folder?

    you can see the pathname... there's nothing in the windows folder yet when i try to delete this entire folder it says it's being in use...i'm on Windows XP Home... thanks

    I do not think that there is much of a problem here, I, personally do not think it will do any harm to your system... I know its nice to keep a nice organised file system, but sometimes its not always possible....

    I say this as a guess, but its prolly something to do with said programs thus cant be deleted cuz it might be used in the future....

    still, I could be wrong... ah well...

    Its one of those protected folders.

    Even if you were able to delete (and you can, by the way), if memory serves correctly, it rebuilds itself on boot.

    Exactly Adryn, its in the same ilk as the Xerox folder, plus its a zero byte one as well so its not taking makor space up... yeah I know its majorly anoying if you want rid of it but cest la vie!

    C:\program files\microsoft frontpage is another one of the folders that does this.
