What's wrong with my video card??

I just re-installed Vista 64 along with all the latest drivers, and now, I'm having problems with my video card (Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 512MB PCI-e). When I try to set up "Photo" in screen savers, it tells me that, "The video card on this computer does not support themes" (no special back grounds or transition effects). The same is true with Windows Photo Gallery - when I try to do a slide show, it now only gives me a choice of transition speeds. Since I'm not a gamer, it's hard for me to tell if any other special video functions have been affected (all else seems okay so far). Can someone please advise me on how to correct this problem? Thank you.

P.S. BTW, all of my hardware is less than 6 months old, and I had no problems with the video card prior to this.

Since no one has responded to my post, I'm assuming that nobody has an answer to this issue. Well, I just received a response from AMD/Radeon (after 3 days, that is), and I wanted to share the solution in case anyone else is interested; As it turns out, all I needed to do was to update my Windows Experience Index. After I did it, everything was back to normal - who would've known?? :confused
