One with low insurance costs as you really need to build up No Claims Discount of your own rather than be on a parents/someone elses policy.

Saxo, Fiesta, Corsa, Punto's all have pretty low insurance.

ok cheers, gonna look at some older models as they're cheaper and have lower insurance costs!

Yeah the mixer takes up most of the back me step dads beemer estate, its hard to cram a PC mini mixer rackmount and all the other crap in there too.

I can just about fix the mixer and PC in my Saxo, but I wouldn't be able to take the whole studio with me :p

1995 Chevy Lumina. Only difference between this picture and what it looks like now is that I no longer have a blue hood, it's black, because I had to have it replaced after I hit a deer going 75mph, and having it painted to match would've cost almost another $1000. Black is good. :) Also, this picture was taken in summer, which it most decidedly is NOT currently. :)

Hm. I do have a winter pic, now that I think about it. :)

How do you find the Taurus, sibeer? I was just looking at the reviews yesterday of them as I need to get something when I get stateside next month. Was looking at something aged 1995-2000, but also considering the Accord or Camry, which also have good reviews.

Taurus is a very good car. 96-98 had coolant corrosion concerns (brown coolant) and avoid the 3.8L engine (head gaskets). Mine's old, I commute 1,000 km per week in it to work, but it's pretty reliable.

Mew2, good news your son's ok, scary thing crashes especially when you hit ice as you have no idea where your going to end up. I take it the car is a right off?

I got a 2002 Saturn SL2. Nothing too fancy but I really like it. It's much better than my old 1987 Plymouth/Mitsubishi/Dodge Colt. (haha, funny story about that!)

    No pics...dangit.

Out of all the Saturns the SL2 comes out with the best review, from what I've read.
