Depends on the genre or category...

    Newer Flicks

For Sci Fi: The Island ('05) is a good newer one; great effects - Kinda' reminds me of the 1979 low budget B-Movie called "Parts: The Clonus Horror" with Peter Graves (great 'drive-in' flick back in the Stone Ages!)
For Serious Topics: Any more recent 'non-comedy' with Tom Hanks in it (or any movies based on Tom Clancy books). The Pianist ('02) was a good war flick.

    Oldies:

For: Crime/Mystery: Chinatown ('74) - Best all around "Jack" flick.
For American Western: High Noon (1952) w/Gary Cooper as Marshal Will Kane
For Film-Noir: The Third Man (1949) w/ Wells in his early days (before he started chugging pizzas frappes). ;)

    Humorous:

For Belly Laugh Humor: Any Marks Brothers esp: Monkey Business (1931) Also, anything with Jim Carey.
For "Dry" Humor: Any early Woody Allen comedy offering esp: Take the Money and Run (1969)
For "Unintentionally" Hilarious Movies: Any James Bond flick (spoiled after seeing Austin Powers).
To Quickly Induce Asleep: Anything with Madonna or J-Lo in it. Also, any Non-Rocky Stallone movie.

How can your favorite be something not released, I mean come on? Not only that, but your talking 9 months out. If your gonna start a favorite movie thread, pick one that is real, rather then publicizing not released cartoons.

Oh, I dont have a favorite. I prefer TV shows, gets it done quicker. Seinfeld, for example.

I simply cannot remember movies I've watched, even the next day. I am also useless at remembering actors' and actresses' names - even the most famous ones. I enjoy watching movies, but it is a case of GIGO for me.

Now TV series I can go for big time, like House or 24 :)

    Spaceballs
    The Sixth Sense

I don't have a favourite but these are movies I can watch over and over and over again.

The Simpsons movie? Really? C'mon, that show has sucked for the last 9 years. The golden era of the Simpsons was from 1991 to 1996. The writting is so bad now that I don't see the movie being any good. Just my opinion though.

Come fly with me+Airtime Michael Jordan documentary box set,I'v probably seen more times than anything else but that was like 10 years ago,Terminator 2 comes in close second, its just pure brilliance probably the only movie that hasnt got a bad, boring or unexciting scene, its pure perfection, effects, acting, action and probably the best story ever told in a movie,I'v lost count of how many times I'v seen it,I could happily pop it in now and watch the whole thing again,,for me it doesnt matter how many times you seen, good is just good

Modern movies are ok but they lack originality, all the good stories have been told IMO:)

24...that's what I'm talking about...haven't given House a chance yet but I hear I should!?!?

As far as movies go...It's been awhile since I've seen one that just knocked me over!! But I gotta say that the one movie that made the most single overwhelming impression on me....Schindler's List!!!! When the entire theater sits there motionless and not a peep out of the crowd through out the whole credits...then as your walking out...it was still quiet, with everyone talking under their breaths, as opposed to babbling out loud as you usually do coming out of the theater!!

Without a doubt Blade 3 Trinity, immense film.

Under Seige 2 up there 2, mainly for the fact its steven segal and his disasterousley poor acting, and secondley he gets shot in the shoulder by like a 50 cal sniper rifle, looks at his wound and runs off, and later says ' u think this is shot u aint seen nothing yet' lmao
