A/V stuff involving my computer, Guitar, Physics, Astronomy, and Bowling.

Not much time for much of anything with work and all.

 

I spend a good deal of time letting computers frustrate me. I make custom jewel boxes out of exotic hardwoods, gardening, playing guitar and my whole world changes when I get to see my grandchildren. bein' Granpa is what I do, and like, best.

 

Gaming, graphics and butting my head against the wall that is php & sql

 

Computer, home decorating, gardening, fishing, scrapbooking.

I like and do all kinds of art.....photo's, found objects and put into a shadow box, wood craving, a little walking, and riding my bicycle, and doing stuff with my kids........wobbles

Blading (aggressive skating), computer stuff like programming and talking to my friends and chatting here on mg, watchin tv, xbox, and just sports for fun (any kind)

lol nah, im not stupid like the people there. btw, i watch real tv too and wasn't there a skateboarder that did have that happen? like, he landed on his hand and it was disgusting and he was screaming in pain? i will never forget that, eewwwww....

about a week after i saw that it aired again over a friend house and i was over there and we were watching it. I knew it was coming up so I purposely was like "dude this next part is freakin disgusting, im going in the kitchen (away from the tv)." he was like "oh c'mon there not that bad" ...


3 minutes later i heard "oh my god that is disgusting! oh my god! nasty!", screamed from the living room lol. So i laughed and asked what happen....

 

yeah i remember seeing that. it was f***ed up.

so far i havent' broken anything or done anything that needed me to go the hospital. just lots and lots and lots of scraps and bruises.

 

Man, I used to play a lot of sports. I've broken a lotta bones. Both my ankles, wrists, thumbs, most of my fingers .. it sucks. I quit sports, but I couldn't even really play if I wanted to.

 

That sucks big time. You must have been a hard hitter though.

Lots of different favorite pastimes over the years. Currently, pretty much just computers, other than work. Building/upgrading periodically, otherwise internet, email, and games.

 

Computers; sports; sci-fi; reading; politics; writing (it makes riding on trains bearable)

 

WHAT? OOOOhh, sounds gorgeous just from your description. Do you sell them too? (or just for friends and family). Any pics?

I've given most of them away as gifts, but I've got 2 still. One that I gave to Eric for Christmas when we were engaged (the first one I made actually ) it's 11 years old now, and it's been getting holes in it. I have been patching them with pieces of cloth from my favorites of our kid's clothes. Kind of a soulish thing. The other one is all flannel plaid on our bed in Bushnell. It's too late at night to get a pic of the one that's here right now, but I'll get that posted tomorrow. The other one will have to wait until our next trip to the Bush.

 

@ PEGG:Yes, I sell them. I generally make them by contract. I will be finishing an armoire her in a few days and will post a picture. I'll look on the HDD and see if I have any old ones other than what is in my promo brochure. BTW, thanks for asking!! Tate

 

How lovely -- "soulish" -- I like that adjective and it should be soulish.

A friend of mine does quilting. Her daughter plays softball (even now in college) and she made a quilt integrating her jerseys (including the team name and the numbers she wore) and gave it to her for her high school graduation.

I'll be waiting. Can I have a promo brochure?

Yeah it's pretty tough, but you can do it. Just practice everyday, make flash cards, etc...I've been slacking for a while because I've been trying to finish summer homework (argargarrhh) but hopefully I'll be able to start up on it again soon.

 

Ah I hear that man. Well keep at Learning Portuguese, you'll have so many doors of opportunity as in jobs just because you know a 3rd language. .
