When i was little I loved the Dandy and Beano comics, my fave from these were:-

As I got older, i liked a bit off extreme mindless violence in my comics and turned to 2000AD and Total Carnage. My fave of these was:-

Ok, I was only going to comment but my favorite cartoons come from Gary Larson's " The Farside " Here's one that's goes well here. (Does this remind you of anyone here?) rolleyes

www.zapgunforhire.com - The futuristic adventure of Buck Godot, Zap Gun for Hire.

That pretty much rounds out my comics reading.

I grew up on Calvin and Hobbes (and own the new anthology) and Bloom County. I never though I would find a comic that would compare to Calvin and his pet tiger, but my new favorite is Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley. If you own a cat or dog, or have ever been around either, it is hilarious.

YAY!! I nevere even thought to check for that online. I just added that to my daily visits. I love that strip. I e-mailed back and forth with him for a few months on a couple of topics, really nice guy.
