Its slowly going up each day, when you are on the main logon page look at the storage counter going up. They started this quite a few months back ( actually started to go up from 1gb about 6months ago, think it was a 1year aniversary thing! )

    Currently stands at
Over 2758.874169 megabytes (and counting) of free storage

I dunno Craig, I think its just going to keep going, I would imagine that they may stop at some point, but as many people dont save 2.5GBs worth of emails, they dont really need to have any limits.

Ok you can use GmailDrive and use the storage capacity to backup files etc but still many people dont use GmailDrive or save that amount of personal files to the Gmail Servers. And as I know your gomg to ask me what Gmail Drive is, here is link http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4405.html dont use it myself. I also remember reading that both Google ( GDrive ) and Microsoft ( Live Drive ) are to offer free online file storage in the form of what Gmail Drive does. ( Gmail Drive is not linked to Google in any way but a 3rd party app )

Cheers on sig, have tried to live upto it this weekend ;)

Gmail Drive is sweet! Thanks for telling me about it.
It would be nice if it was a little faster, but I still like it.
So far I am using it to archive my software keys so that I'll NEVER lose them.
I also like the fact that I can access my stuff anywhere in the world.
