I've burnt between 200-300 discs since I first built my pc a few years back around 2007. I specifically use an LG super multi optical burner drive. Come to think of it, that's a heck of a lot of discs! Although I've never had a problem with any single disc burnt, I still wonder if I should be using this burner or not. I mean it's been through so many burns and lasted so many years. Would it be safe (for my datas sake), to continue using this burner or not? These things should wear down sometime. And there really is no way for me to know that 100 percent of the data on my discs is fine, but I have yet to notice any glitches. Anyways thanks for your opinions...

    If it ain't broke...you know.

You should be fine. Unless you start noticing specific problems with the drive (skipping, lagging, not responding, etc...) it should be fine for now.

I'll second this post by saying yeah, ain't broke, don't fix it. That's what Microsoft does and you know how that always turns out? That's how we got Vista. lol

I would just make sure that your discs are readable after each burn and if they are, march on Marine! :major
