When my computer boots up it will not let me check the "C" Drive

When my computer comes on the blue screen says that the 'c' drive has a scheduled check for then a few lines down it says scan was canceled. I did not cancel it. rrrrr confused

Any thoughts?

What version of Windows do you have?

Can you get to the boot options screen by repatedly tapping F8 as the pc boots?

If you can what happens with each option?

Did the problem arise before of after you tried to delete the thing off your desktop and were you trying killbox?

Do you have you Windows CD available?
