   CatT I can't follow the rules

   there's an intriguing new book out about the dangers of computer-controlled devices: TVs that won't boot, ATMs that lock up; car crashes caused by GPS gliches, etc.
   
   name escapes me. anyone know?
   
   tried googling "appliance crashes" etc., but haven't quite found it. but i DID find THIS site: http://crashedappliances.blogspot.com/
