Where Are The Games?

In Win7, all the boxes are checked in Programs and Features > Windows Features > Games, but Games doesn't appear in Accessories, and I can't find anything that looks like any game(s) anywhere in Program Files. How do I get them to appear?

 

If you have checked them they should be a folder in the start menu that says games and it will open a window which should have minesweeper and other games.

 

In Program Files, the games are in a folder named Microsoft Games.

You can right-click the Start button, click Properties, click Customize... and scroll down to Games. Click the radio button next to Display as a link or Display as a menu.

 

The boxes in Programs and Features > Windows Features > Games are and were all checked, but the Start > All Programs > Games folder is empty.

I did as you said and switched the setting from Don't display this item to Display as a menu and then even rebooted, but the Start > All Programs > Games folder is still empty.

Is it possible that the previous owner of this computer somehow uninstalled Games for some reason?

 

I should have mentioned... There will be a Games entry on the right side of the Start menu. What happens when you click it?
Also, navigate to C: > Program Files > Microsoft Games. What do you see?

 

The right side of the Start Menu? The only thing in the Start Menu is the Programs folder, and there's nothing in Programs' sub-folders called Games.
