Where can i legally download free mp3s

Does anyone know where i can legally download free mp3s?

 

Depends on what you want to download-if you're talking about small bands and the likes then their websites, but if tlaking about stuff thats on the radio-you can't.

I've only used last.fm but have often found the song I wanted on there. Not comprehensive but it seems like a legitimate site.

 

Well, if you like live music then Wolfgangs Vault could be for you. You do have to register to listen to the content for free but it's not downloadable. Lot's of good old rock in there!!!:drool Amongst every other genre one can think of.

@Halo, what was that place you turned me on too, they had graphical music trees of the genre selected and could be downloaded using something like downloadhelper for FF. Sorry mate, I lost all my bookmarks somewhere in this 1TB maze.:-o Aaacckkk!!!
