Where Do I Find SP2?

I am about to reformat my HD and have a big clear out.

I have SP2 on my computer already but would like to DL it and put it on my 2nd HD so I can be as safe as possible from the start.

But because it's on my computer already, Microsoft Update won't let me get to the part of the site that lets you DL it.

Also... Is there anything else I should do before wiping my HD?

You can download SP2 from this link. Then you can save this file to a location that you're not going to format.

Other than backing up your files, there's not much to formatting the hard drive.

 

You can order a SP2 Cd from Microsoft, the cd is free but I think they charge a $1. to ship it to ya. Not sure if that helps ya.
