Where is ComboFix finding these things?

    Hi Folks.

    Once again I am receiving a warning from ComboFix that a real time scanner is active.

    The scanner is NOT active and will not even load because of the infection. Plus, I removed the scanner entries from the Registry. Where is ComboFix constantly finding these things? :banghead

    Sorry. I finally found the entries. They were in a couple of registry entries which did not show up in my searches.

    These are typically Security Center entries. ComboFix is falsely stating an security program is 'running" just because the registry entries still exist. Just because these registry entries exist, it does not mean the program is still installed nor does it necessarily mean it is running.

    You MUST be careful running ComboFix on your own. This is not something recommended as a routine scan.
