Where Is The Hdd?

I just installed a new HDD and i checked in the BIOS, it reonizes it.
But when i logon it's not in my computer...
WHAT DO I DO?

Check the cable the flat one is it set correctly ???

is this a second harddisk if so is the jumper set correctly (slave).

A litle more info system and OS......

When i got to look for Hardware it's there.
OS:
WIN XP SP2
INTEL P4 CELERON 2.70 GHZ
769 DDR PC3200 RAM
SEAGATE HDD (BOTH)

Start > Run and type diskmgmt.msc > ok

does the drive show up?

if so right click the unpartitioned space and choose new partition once partitioned then format it.
