   I wanted to post a question about NIS 2005, but notice your Symantec (Norton) board is Read Only.

   Hi Alice, welcome to Major Geeks.
   
   The read only Norton is a service provided by MG (courtesy Nick ADSL) to supply the current antivirus database. There is a similar service for most AV programs.
