Wheres my desktop pic???

All the sudden after a reboot my picture shows up before the icons, then the icons load and my picture is replaced by a solid blue color.

ive fun all types of spyware removal and ad ware removal but i cant get my picture back up there

help please

This sounds as if the picture you were using has been deleted. I can't recall if Windows keeps a local cache of wallpapers, or whether it remembers the path that you saved the file to. Either way, to set your wallpaper, please do the following:

1. Right-click the desktop
2. Select 'Properties'
3. Select the 'Desktop' tab

Here you will see a listing of all the wallpapers Windows knows of. If you do not find the file you are after here, press the 'Browse' button and navigate to it.

 

thanks i tend to overthink things i thought there was a desktop hijacker or something...........
