Where's my Dreamweaver CS3 Serial Key?

I purchased DW CS3 and installed it on my desktop, which is dying. In installing it on my new computer, I discovered that the serial key is not on the package. It might have been on the box it came in, or maybe the sticker fell off, but it's not where it ought to be. Adobe's online support says to call Customer Service, but I only get to listen to their music for over an hour.

Keyfinder doesn't find the key for CS3; doing a search in the registry is fruitless.

Does anyone have any idea how to extract the key? Or even how to talk to a live agent at Adobe?

Try downloading System Information For Windows.
Once running,look on left side for Licenses or Secrets.

 

Thanks for the suggestion! Alas, it did not surface the key.

I did, however, waste an hour and half that I'll never get back listening to Adobe's customer service music. . . before I gave up. That was after losing another hour several days before.

So sad.

 

Sue B adobe's tech. support is terrible. I called up last week waited for an hour real-time to speak to a real person then gave up. Following day I did the same and again 30 minutes go by and I think I've heard the whole discography of elevator music up to this point.

I eventually got a direct contact to an Adobe rep since I work for a school. If you want I can message you his email and you can contact him directly.

Let me know I have no problem doing that.

Yes, it's a licensed version, and I did register it. For whatever reason, the sticker on the back of the CD package, instead of having the serial key, has this:

DVS/A.DRWV.9.0.WIN.GEN.WWE.INSTL NACT
90082043

I installed it successfully on my desktop last year, so I had the serial key at some point, but if it was on the cardboard box and not the CD package I can't imagine I would have thrown that part away--I know better!

i just heard back from my contact. He said that in order to help you he needs to know where you purchased it, Whether it is a personal copy or a volume copy, When you purchased it, and how you paid for it.

He also mentioned that if it is a personal copy there isn't much he can do to help the only means is to work through the tech support channels. I mentioned how terrible it was and he said they are aware of it and are trying to work on it
