Where's The Button?!

tryna activate "intercept downloads" (from clipboard) for FDM. prior versions just did it, but this one says i need to "Download Edge extension". ok, fine.

so it sends me HERE:

Free Download Manager - Chrome Web Store (google.com)

which A) looks like a whole new copy of FDM, and B) has no DOWNLOAD LINK!!

fiddling around, i somehow end up HERE:

Download with Free Download Manager (FDM) - Chrome Web Store (google.com)

this looks more like the extension alone. again, tho, where's the DOWNLOAD LINK?!

totally baffled how to proceed here.

worse yet, when i click on the "website" link looking for more info, it appears that edge is the ONLY main browser not covered. some comments imply this is b/c it come pre-integrated to Edge.

well, yeah, this is what i was used to in the past, but if so, why is it sending me out for an extension in the first place?!

 

seriously, are others seeing some "download" button there?

i just want my FDM to intercept links! why has this become so complicated?!

it won't even add "save via FDM" to context menus without this extension....
