I need a new computer. I photoshop while I make dvds while I type on Word while I browse the net. I need POWER. On my old computer, everything takes too long to load and parts of images stay on the screen after I close them.

What company is like Dell used to be. Where is my power needed? Graphics card, RAM, CPU? How much is enough and what company can I buy it from? In the $2,000-$3,000 range.

As you can see I am not a good geek, but I am trying. Can anyone help me, advise me?

    Thanks

Without a shadow of doubt the first thing to get is more RAM!! ;) Max out your Mobo with the stuff.

Secondly a decent graphics card (which also comes with its own memory).

Thirdly the CPU. - But you may need a new mobo to go with it. ;)
