    Hi,
Internal HDD are 2 x 2Tb, backed up internally to another 2Tb pair, then I have many external usb HDD, early ones 250Gb, later they are 500Gb, then 2Tb and a 4Tb, all need backing up, 22Tb in total, one failed the other day, managed to get data off it after 2 scary days. There must be 22Tb or more, yet cloud backup says 2Tb, totally inadequate now that I come to consider it, reluctantly , paying subs I loathe as I cant afford subs even for Photoshop., but cannot rsisk data lossage.

So what cloud backup options are there I can afford, something that looks at what is plugged in and backuups up any changes it sees, and with 17 x usb HDD only a few are in at any one point in time. The backup prog must look for new and altered files.
I use AbeMeda for cataloging the contents, and every time I right click a drive and choose update it takes 20 or mins to scan, even if I have added just a few files, a real pain, it is unable to spot changes quickly, so I dont want the cloud backup prog hunting around like that slowing my PC right down, as its a performance PC for CAD and video etc and as such has to fly as intended in build.

Curry PC world do 2tb for £40 a year so thats a non starter. They sell 4Tb drives and I fill them up, videos take up lots of space, eos cameras 23Mb a shot,

holy cow, cloud backup for 22TB could take forever and a day,
besides exceeding any bandwidth data caps you might have.
i'm just as poor, otherwise, an email i got last week from serverworlds

Too true, cloud storage upload speeds usually suck!
They offer the capacity, but uploading your data can become consuming.

    Its like pulling teeth :(
