I need to know which drivers to choose to install from the GEEK list.I have already redone the realtek AC97. But the Mirus tech said I also need a utilitychipset specialist control software a onboard LAN an VIA chipset, and a VGA onboard. I am new at this. My computer is a Mirus model#924377 with a Foxconn motherboard K8M890M2MA-RS2H,Phoenix Award BIOS v6ooPg I like the ease of use with the GEEKS. The installation was easy.My computer had a crash and I lost alot. I lost my Microsoft office,Phoenix Recover Pro,sound(which I got back thanks to Geek) and a couple of others. My computer is out of warrenty (of course!) and did not have a master disc.:cry and their tech support leaves alot to be desired,So any help would be greatky appreciated.

All of the drivers listed are for Windows XP (Home/Pro/Media Center). You didn't mention which version of Windows you're using, so I assumed Windows XP.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

I am not sure how to unzip the files I have 7-zip installed and I do have XP

All of the files are .zip except the VGA which is .7z. All of them can be unzipped with 7Zip. Just double click the files and follow the on-screen prompts, or right-click the files and select "Extract to folder" (the actual wording may be different, but it will be close to that; I don't use 7zip so I don't know exactly what it says, but all zippers are pretty similar). After double clicking or right clicking, you should end up with a folder with same name as the zipped file. For example, if you have a file called "chipset.zip" and you double click it, you will end up with a folder called "chipset". You'll still have the "chipset.zip" also, but you'll open the "chipset" folder and look for a "setup.exe" file and double click it. Then follow the on-screen install instructions. It is much easier than I'm making it sound...
