Which is the best?

Which AV is the best so far for 2008?

is it nod32, kapersky, norton etc.

please tell me your opinion!~

 

Personally, I don't pay for antivirus utilities. I see no reason to when there's plenty of free tools available. On my home PC, I run Avira's AntiVir, Comodo BOClean, BHR4.5, and I run regular scans with SUPER Antispyware. I also recommend Online Armor (available here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Online-Armor_d4872.html) and Dynamic Security Agent (DSA, available here: http://www.privacyware.com/dynamic_security_agent.html). All of these apps are free for life, including updates, and they're available here at MajorGeeks (except for DSA). I also do all the regular maintenance; cleaning temp files, clearing the system restore cache from time to time, and the like. I have NEVER had a full blown infection on my home PC. EVER. I've had the occasional bit of spyware try to get in, but 9 out of 10 are stopped dead. If something does get thru, it gets nailed, pronto.

 

The best anti-virus app is sitting in front of your keyboard. Smart, careful surfing is the key.

Most people I know use NOD32 and swear by it. However I, like dlb, have been doing well with free apps and in my case, over 5 years without a problem, and I go to some nasty cracker sites and if they don't get to me, no one will. I would think that internet hygiene, like not opening e-mail attachments from folk that you don't know, or clicking on links in an e-mail, or clicking on an unsolicitated pop-up goes a long way to keep ones computer clean.
