Which is the better program?

I'm wondering whether Advanced SystemCare Pro or TuneUp Utilities is the better program?

If you're looking for opinions, I'll throw my $.02 worth in: don't use either one. Use common sense, follow tried-and-true cleaning and maintenance procedures and guides (such as this one and this one), perform proper backups of important data, and frequent forums such as this one for expert advice.

That way, you know what's been done to your system. My problem with the 'tuneup' programs is that I have no idea what the program has done to my machine - if it breaks, where do I look?

I'm not necessarily putting down either of those programs. It's just that I'm a Major Geek, and if tweaking is to be done to any computer of mine, it's gonna be done by me.

I have to agree totally. I'm no Major Geek, quite the opposite and know only enough to get me by, but i feel too that the best security and maintainance for any computer is a sensible user. I think that if you can learn those simple ways as explained in the guides already given, that there is no need to use these softwares and that way, you know whats on and whats not been sneaked onto your computer and where it is.

Just thought i would throw in my opinion
