Which laptop is the "better" of the two?

I have 2 laptops that I need your help in deciding which one I want to keep. The problem is, I dont know much about the hardware in them. I would like some help 1. in getting the information you need to see what they each have in them, and 2. let me know which one is the "better" of the two. Neither of them are hooked up to the internet, so I will have to find the information out without using any scanning programs. I appreciate your help in this matter.

I will need easy directions on how to get the information, as I don't know too much about how to get it. Thanks.

 

Who is the manufacturer and what are the models of each laptop.

 

The first one is a Dell Inspiron E1505 and the second is a HP Pavilion dv2000. but what I'm more concerned with is what is inside it. Like memory, processors, that kind of stuff.

 

According to notebookreview.com the E1505 has the following :
Core2Duo T2500 2.0GHZ
512MB DDR2 533
Intel GMA 950 (graphics card)
100GB SATA Hard drive

According to CNET the dv2000 has the following:
Core2Duo T2400 1.8GHZ
1024MB DDR2
Intel GMA 950 (graphics card)
80GB SATA Hard drive

In my opinion keep the Dell. Slightly better CPU with a larger HD. You can always upgrade the RAM and it is fairly inexpensive.
